On mym, some content is reserved for adults. To access it, we need to make sure that you are 18 or older. This verification is a legal requirement: it protects minors and ensures a safe space for the entire community.
Good news: verification is quick, and you have two options.
👉 Option 1: express verification with Yoti (about 1 minute)
Yoti is a secure age verification service. Simply follow the on-screen instructions: your camera is used to estimate your age in just a few seconds.
No image or data is saved after verification.
For everything to go smoothly:
- Allow access to your camera when your browser or phone asks you to. If you accidentally denied access, you can change this permission in your browser or phone settings.
- Position yourself in a well-lit area, with your face clearly visible (without a hat or glasses).
- If you experience a technical issue, clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then try again. You can also try using another browser or another device.
👉 Option 2: verification by submitting your documents
If Yoti is unable to estimate your age or you experience an ongoing technical issue, you can verify your age by submitting your documents:
1️⃣ Go to Settings, then Account Verification (shown as “ to do” as long as your age has not been verified).
2️⃣ Submit a valid ID along with a selfie of you holding this ID in your hand.
3️⃣ Confirm your mobile phone number.
Your documents will then be verified automatically.
