How does my messaging work?
In your messages, you’ll find a list of all your conversations with creators.
👉 Find a conversation
At the top of the list, the “Search for a creator” search bar lets you go directly to a conversation. You can also filter your conversations using the All, Unread, and Subscriptions tabs.
👉 In a conversation
You’ll find all the messages and media exchanged with the creator, organized by date. Under their name, you can see whether they’re online or when they last logged in.
When a creator offers you paid media, it appears blurred with its price. You have two options:
Unlock: the media is purchased and becomes visible immediately.
Decline: you decline the offer.
The Thank button lets you send the creator a tip to show that you appreciated their content. This is a paid gesture, with no expectation of anything in return from them.
👉 Request private media
Click the + button at the bottom of the conversation, then describe what you’d like to receive from the creator (up to 1,500 characters) and click Send request.
Your request will then appear in the conversation with its status. As long as it is pending, it means that the creator has not processed it yet: they must accept or decline it.
A private media request must be fully processed before you can make a new one with the same creator. If you try to send another one in the meantime, the message “You already have a request in progress with this creator” will appear.
👉 The conversation menu (•••)
At the top right of each conversation, this menu lets you:
view private media: all the media unlocked in the conversation with this creator;
mute the conversation so you no longer receive notifications;
go to the creator’s profile;
report the conversation if you find someone’s behavior inappropriate.
Be careful not to confuse private media with the “Bookmarks” tab, which contains the media you have saved as well as purchased MODs.

The creator isn’t responding
mym gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the lives of the people you dream about, and the ability to chat with them privately makes your experience even more exciting. However, a creator may not always respond as quickly as you’d like.
Three things to remember in this case:
1️⃣ Unfortunately, mym cannot guarantee creators’ response times. Please be patient 😉
2️⃣ Some creators respond less quickly than others to private media requests because they receive a lot of requests.
3️⃣ If your private media request is still pending, click Remind directly below your request: the creator will then receive a little nudge 👋 reminding them to respond to you.
Keep in mind that the Superstar star displayed on some creators guarantees that they are genuinely active. Creators with this status update their profile every week and respond to your private media requests within 48 hours.
