Tracking links

Tracking links allow you to better understand and optimize your Fan acquisition strategies outside of MyM. They help you accurately measure the impact of your promotional actions (social networks, external campaigns, partnerships, etc.) on visits and subscriptions to your profile.

What are tracking links used for?

Tracking links help you to:

  • Analyze the origin of your new Fans

  • Identify the most effective channels

  • Measure subscriptions and revenue generated by your external actions

đŸ€“ These links have no impact on your Fans’ experience: anyone clicking on a tracking link is simply redirected to your MyM profile.

How to create a tracking link?

You can create tracking links from the Settings → Tracking links tab.

Please note:

  • You can have up to 100 active tracking links

  • Links:

    • Cannot be renamed after creation

    • Cannot be reactivated after deletion (redirection still works via a soft-delete mechanism)

  • Tracking links do not expire and are not disabled after a period of inactivity

Where do tracking links redirect?

  • Tracking links redirect only to your Creator profile

  • It is not possible to redirect to specific content or pages

👉 We recommend using a link-in-bio tool or a link aggregator (e.g. Linkscale) with deep-linking capabilities to optimize your Fans’ experience depending on the context (social networks, in-app browsers, etc.).

Tracking link compatibility

Tracking links are compatible with:

  • All browsers

  • All applications (social networks, messaging apps, etc.)

  • In-app browsers

⚠ Warning: any modification of the URL by a third-party application may affect attribution. Using a link aggregator is therefore strongly recommended.

How does attribution work?

Attribution allows you to identify which tracking link generated an action from your Fans.
Specifically, when a Fan clicks on a tracking link and then subscribes to your profile within one hour, MyM associates that subscription and the generated revenue with the corresponding link. This allows you to precisely measure the effectiveness of your actions and acquisition channels.

What is attributed?

  • Visits to your profile

  • Subscriptions

For each subscription attributed to a tracking link, revenue from:

  • Subscriptions

  • Premium content (PPV)

Attribution logic

  • Model: last-touch

  • Attribution window: 1 hour from the visit via the tracking link

Special case

If a Fan clicks on multiple tracking links:

  • Each click is counted for each link

  • The subscription is attributed to the last clicked link, if the subscription occurs within one hour of that click

Attribution persistence

  • Subscription attribution is preserved even if the Fan creates an account or logs into an existing account afterward

  • If the Fan visits your profile via a tracking link but subscribes from another device, attribution is lost

Please note:

  • Displayed revenue corresponds to net Creator earnings (after MyM fees)

  • Refunds are not deducted

  • Canceled subscriptions are not subtracted

  • PPV revenue is attributed as long as the attributed subscription is active, with no time limit

Why didn’t attribution work?

  • URL modification by a third-party application

  • Non-standard redirection without a link aggregator

  • Data display delay

Your statistics are available in real time, with no delay.
