Deleting a Mod, Pushes, and Private Media (PPV)

Can I delete a Mod, a PUSH, or Private Media already purchased by a fan?

When a fan purchases a Mod, a PUSH, and Private Media (PPV = pay-per-view), they obtain a consultation license. This means they can view the content as many times as they wish.

For this reason, the fan must be able to continue to access it, even if:

  • you remove the content from your Media On Demand gallery;
  • or if you delete your account.

👉 However, once the content is removed from your gallery, it can no longer be purchased by new fans.

Why can't I delete a PPV that has already been sold?

Three main reasons:

  1. Contract Execution:

MYM guarantees the fan access to the content after purchase.

  2. Legal Rules:

The GDPR does not apply to content already sold. The fan has a right of consultation and not a private copy of the media.

  3. User Protection:

Deleting content that has already been paid for would deprive the fan of their purchase

Can I remove a MOD from my gallery?

Yes

The removal prevents any new purchase, but does not affect access for fans who have already acquired the media.

Do I have to refund a fan if I delete a PPV from my account?

No

The contract is executed as soon as the fan has access to the media. No refund is due.

What to do if the PPV contains an error or a problem?

  • Non-illicit error: You can autonomously remove the media from your gallery or request its removal for future purchases. Fans who have already purchased it retain their access, without interruption.
  • Illicit content (minor, fraud, violence, etc.): Immediately contact MYM support. The PPV may be deleted for all fans according to the procedure in force, and a withdrawal of your earnings may be carried out to refund the purchases concerned.

Can a fan request the deletion of a PPV?

No, unless the content is illicit. However, if the fan deletes their account, the contract with MYM ends, which results in the loss of their right of consultation of the purchased media.
