Know that you can at any time limit the number of notifications you receive from creators’ messages (both emails and notifications you get on the MYM messaging platform), based on your preferences as well as your status with the creators.
This allows you to maintain control over your experience while staying connected to the creators you truly care about 💘
🔕 Mute a Creator
Whether you are a subscriber or simply former subscriber, you can mute a creator at any time to stop receiving notifications of their new messages by email or via a blue badge visible in your messaging inbox. The messages will still be accessible in your MYM messaging. To do this:
Open the conversation with the creator in question;
Click on the three dots at the top right;
Select Mute.
👉 Nothing is permanent: you can enable or disable mute at any time according to your preferences. Your conversation history is preserved.
⚠️ Muting a creator means only that you will no longer receive notifications of new messages from them. You will continue to see their public posts in your feed. If you are a subscriber, you will also retain access to private content and can make purchases from the creator.
👋 Unfollow a Creator
As an interested user, you can also choose to disengage from a creator at any time:
via the star at the top right of their profile;
or from your list of followed creators, available in the “my account” tab
This allows you to stop receiving group messages and stop seeing the public posts of that creator in your feed. However, you can still receive personalized messages from the creator as an interested user.
👉 If you want to no longer be notified when receiving personalized messages from your former followed creators, it is recommended to first mute the creator, then unfollow their profile.

MYM lets you freely manage the communications you receive, whether from creators or from MYM itself.
Mute a creator: ideal for no longer receiving notifications (email & blue badge) whether you are a subscriber or former subscriber.
Manage your followed creators: sort through your followed creators to reduce the number of emails and blue badges without missing your messages, which will always be available in your conversations.
Adjust your preferences: through the My Account tab, you can choose the frequency of notifications (real-time, weekly, monthly, or none)
⚠️ Even if you disable all notifications, some mandatory emails (such as invoices or order confirmations) will continue to be sent in accordance with legal requirements.
This allows you to be notified only of the most relevant messages for you, without overloading your inbox ✨
