Promotion

What are promotional campaigns for?

They allow you to offer a discount on the first month of subscription to more easily attract new subscribers and boost your conversions.

How do I create a campaign?

Go to Settings > Promotions, then click on New Campaign.

Then choose the percentage of discount you want to offer, from 5% to 100%, for the first month of subscription.

👉 Your campaign can be disabled at any time from your settings.

For what period does the discount apply?

The promotion is valid only on the first month of subscription.

Can I have multiple campaigns at the same time?

No, only one campaign can be active at a time. The new campaign automatically replaces the previous one.

Can a fan combine multiple discounts?

No. Discounts cannot be combined. If multiple offers are available, the most advantageous one for the fan is automatically applied.

Example: if a promotional campaign offers a 50% discount and a promo code offers 70%, the fan will benefit from the 70% discount.

Note: A fan can only benefit from one discount greater than 50% (promotion or discount voucher) every six months with the same creator.

What percentage of discount should you choose?

The right rate mainly depends on your profile:

If you already have a well-established messaging and private media strategy (active messaging, regular paid content), a steep discount — up to 100% — can be a real lever: it will allow you to acquire many more subscribers. This is actually the choice observed among a large share of creators launching campaigns.

If private media isn't yet a firmly established habit for you, it's better to stick to a more moderate rate, around 50%, to avoid a loss of revenue in the first month without a follow-up strategy behind it.

👉 Key takeaway: the better equipped you are to monetize after the subscription (messaging, MOD, private media), the higher a percentage you can aim for.

What's the impact on my subscription revenue?

A well-calibrated campaign noticeably increases the number of new subscribers, which tends to stabilize — or even slightly increase — your subscription revenue over time. Keep an eye on the renewal rate after the first month: it's the best indicator to check that the campaign remains profitable over the long run, not just at the moment of initial conversion.

Messaging and private media make the difference

Creators who benefit the most from a promotional campaign are those who back up the arrival of these new subscribers with genuine messaging follow-up (chat, personalized replies, private media sales). The discount attracts qualified fans; it's your activity afterward that turns that attention into revenue.
